Baby Buggy Update

New Tires for the Vintage Stroller!

New Baby Buggy Tires from LuxuryPrams.com

Custom Made Tires from LuxuryPrams.com

The new tires from LuxuryPrams.com are looking sharp!

Initially, it looked like it would be a tight fit but with their instructions, we got the tires on the wheels without an issue.

After sending the measurements and payment, we received the package in about 4 weeks. Not bad considering all the supply chain issues right now.

The package included written instructions and a link to a youtube video with mounting instructions. We made our own video so you can see how easy it was for us to mount the tires with no experience.

Reassembling the Baby Buggy

Once we had the new tires on the wheels, we had one last piece to polish up before putting the pieces back together.

The reassembly was pretty straightforward, the only thing that proved to be a bit challenging was getting the piece that connected the folding handlebar and bassinet holder to the frame. It definitely took two sets of hands so I was glad to have Jack there helping out. All in all, it took us about one hour to get the frame all put back together and it looks sharp!

Next Up

Next on the agenda is to clean up the handlebar and basinet before the new baby McKenzie comes. We have started freshening up the mattress but we’re still not sure what will work on the plastic-like material of the handblebar.
